Chubb Ltd. on Friday named Drew Spitzer as treasurer, replacing Mark Hammond who's leaving the company. Kevin Harkin will succeed Mr. Spitzer as chief financial officer for The united states Insurance.
Both appointments are effective March 1.
Mr. Spitzer will are accountable to Peter Enns, executive v . p ., Chubb Group, and CFO from the insurer.
As CFO for Chubb's United states operations, Mr. Harkin will are accountable to John Lupica, vice chairman, Chubb Group, and president, North America Insurance, and to Mr. Enns. Mr. Harkin currently can serve as senior vice president, North America financial operations.
Mr. Hammond will stay with Chubb until March 1, the insurer said.
Mr. Spitzer joined Chubb, then Ace Ltd., in 2006 as senior v . p . and deputy chief accounting officer and it has a lot more than Twenty five years of experience in finance, accounting and insurance. Just before serving as CFO of Chubb's United states operations he was CFO of Combined Insurance, its personal accident and supplemental health subsidiary.
Mr. Harkin, who joined Ace in 2007, has held various finance roles in the insurer and has a lot more than 20 years of expertise in corporate finance and accounting.
