NYS Collection is really a locally owned franchise in Gilroy, California, that provides affordable and stylish eyewear. The company is owned by a parent and son team, Khosrow and Ali Rakhshanifar, with Ali handling the day to day operations.
Ali, holds a legitimate degree from McGeorge SOL University of Pacific, California. Prior to opening NYS Eyewear, Ali was being employed as a successful lawyer here in the San francisco bay area. However, having developed working in Khosrow's restaurant and dealerships, he'd a powerful need to work for himself and open their own small business. Following a lot of research, Ali and Khosrow established the organization and opened their first Kiosk in San Francisco's Westfield Mall in October or 2022.
After a year at Westfield, Ali submit a bid to relocate to SFO's terminal 3. He predicted that thehigher traffic and influx of holidaymakers would boost overall sales. He was right! NYS Eyewear ultimately won the contract over 30 other applicants, and continued to operate an effective kiosk in SFO for the following 2 years — finding the franchisor's highest average transaction award (2022 & 2022). As the first contract ended and the Terminal 3 Kiosk closed in October of 2022, their strong sales led to their being invited to spread out a new a storefront in SFO's terminal 1.
While Ali and Khosrow have been running the company themselves these past years, their new success means they're going to have to hire a minimum of five new people in the approaching months. We're excited to see how far they're going, and to be their partner in creating new jobs in the South Bay.
