Risk Strategies Co. said Wednesday it's acquired specialist broker Burke Insurance Group LLC.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Las Cruces, New Mexico-based Burke specializes in the surety bond, construction, and gas and oil sectors in Boise state broncos and West Texas, Risk Strategies said in a statement. The broker's website shows three employees.
The deal is Risk Strategies' first in Boise state broncos.
Boston-based Risk Strategies, which is the trading name of RSC Insurance Brokerage Inc., is the 16th largest brokerage of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance's latest ranking.
